| KLM becomes full owner of Martinair |
| KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will have full ownership of Martinair. KLM and the A.P. Moller - Maersk Group have agreed on the sale of A.P. Moller – Maersk Group’s 50% stake in Martinair to KLM, which transaction was cleared by the European Commission today. KLM has already held a 50% stake in Martinair for many years.

| Arik Air receives first A340-500 |
| Arik Air, the fast growing private airline based in Lagos, Nigeria, received its first A340-500 today at a ceremony at the Airbus headquarters in Toulouse, France. The ceremony was conducted by John Leahy, Airbus Chief Operating Officer Customers, and Arik Air Chairman Sir J.I.A Arumemi-Johnson in the presence of senior government officials from various African states, board members and key business partners of the airline, and other VIP guests.

| Bombardier Sells Eight Q400 to Ethiopian Airlines |
| Bombardier Aerospace announced today that Ethiopian Airlines has signed a contract to purchase eight Q400 NextGen turboprop airliners, and has taken options on four additional Q400 NextGen aircraft. Including this transaction, the Dash 8/Q-Series aircraft program has recorded firm orders for a total of 1,001 aircraft.

| Croatia Airlines, the flag carrier of the Republic of Croatia, has signed a firm contract with Airbus for the purchase of4 A319s to add to its growing medium haul fleet aircraft. The new A319s will join its 8 A320 Family aircraft already in operation.

| Southwest Posts Third Quarter Net Loss |
| Southwest Airlines reported a third quarter net loss of $120 million after special charges totaling $247 million primarily related to adjustments on the future periods' fuel hedge portfolio. This compares with net income of $162 million during the same period a year ago.
