This is a hydro plane fighter that the U.S. Navy and the Convair co. made for trial purposes equipped with the jet engine. The airframe was a delta no tail form, and J34 jet engine bimotored. It had a hard time in the prevention of the inhalation of water most when this airframe was made. Though 1 or 2 hydro ski is installed under the nose, and it dealt with this, the defect of the vibration and the stability the water's sliding was not able to be canceled.
