| During a ceremony held at Hamburg, Germany, Shanghai Airlines has taken delivery of its first Airbus aircraft, an A321, becoming a new operator of Airbus aircraft. The aircraft is the first of 10 A321s ordered by the Shanghai-based carrier in 2006 and 2007.

| Tarom Takes Delivery of its First ATR 72-500 |
| Romania’s flag carrier Tarom took delivery of its first ATR 72-500 aircraft. This follows the contract signed last year, valued at some US $ 37 million, for two ATR 72-500s. The airline currently operates a fleet of 7 ATR 42-500s, and will take delivery of its second new ATR 72-500 later this year.

| Armavia takes delivery of its first new A319 |
| Armenia flag carrier Armavia has taken delivery of its first new A319. The aircraft was handed over to Armavia’s President, Mikhail Bagdasarov, at a ceremony held at the Airbus factory in Hamburg, Germany. Operated under a lease agreement with ILFC, the new A319 will increase the airline’s Airbus fleet to five aircraft.

| Singapore Airlines Takes Delivery of First A330 |
| Singapore Airlines has added a new Airbus type to its fleet with the delivery of its first A330-300. Acquired under a lease agreement with Dublin-based AWAS, the aircraft was handed over to the airline at a ceremony in Toulouse today attended by Mak Swee Wah, Executive Vice President Operations and Services, Singapore Airlines, Frank Pray, President and Chief Executive Officer of AWAS and Tom Enders, President and Chief Executive Officer, Airbus.

| KLM becomes full owner of Martinair |
| KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will have full ownership of Martinair. KLM and the A.P. Moller - Maersk Group have agreed on the sale of A.P. Moller – Maersk Group’s 50% stake in Martinair to KLM, which transaction was cleared by the European Commission today. KLM has already held a 50% stake in Martinair for many years.

| Arik Air receives first A340-500 |
| Arik Air, the fast growing private airline based in Lagos, Nigeria, received its first A340-500 today at a ceremony at the Airbus headquarters in Toulouse, France. The ceremony was conducted by John Leahy, Airbus Chief Operating Officer Customers, and Arik Air Chairman Sir J.I.A Arumemi-Johnson in the presence of senior government officials from various African states, board members and key business partners of the airline, and other VIP guests.

| Bombardier Sells Eight Q400 to Ethiopian Airlines |
| Bombardier Aerospace announced today that Ethiopian Airlines has signed a contract to purchase eight Q400 NextGen turboprop airliners, and has taken options on four additional Q400 NextGen aircraft. Including this transaction, the Dash 8/Q-Series aircraft program has recorded firm orders for a total of 1,001 aircraft.
