
Russia Addresses Germany with Proposal to Buy Superjet-100

The RF has offered Germany to buy Superjet-100 aircraft, as Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Denis Manturov reports.
"Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel and we have discussed the fact that German companies Liebherr and Parker took part in creation of Superjet-100. We are also interested in German airlines to buy these aircraft", he said.
"We have also discussed that German airlines express interest in Superjet-100 exploitation. The company of Sukhoi holds consulting with German airlines Lufthansa and Air Berlin and we hope to reach some agreements linked with exploitation of Superjet-100", Head of Sukhoi company Mikhail Pogosyan says.
According to Russian Ambassador to Germany Vladimir Koroteev, Russia-Germany cooperation has good perspectives and the interest of the German partners is very high. "Many German air carriers already express interest in our new aircraft", he marks.
