The Kwik-Pit is a plans built flight simulator cockpit for all simulator fans. The goal is to fill the price gap for those who are not wealthy but want to enjoy simulations to their fullest, and at the same time add more realism and fun to the gaming experience, thus the KwikPit was born. The simulator can be built very inexpensively with ordinary tools using readily available materials.
The plans are in full color to help eliminate confusion for the first time builder. There are no complicated layered drawings, no professional skills are required, the plans are designed with straight cuts with no tricky radius cuts or curves. The plans are easily customizable to give each builder a one of a kind cockpit. We also include a set of full color printable flight instrument graphics to add that final touch to the cockpit.
The completed cockpit is made of sturdy composite wood construction. A rudder/Gas Pedal Stop Bar prevents control sliding. The cockpit has removable wheel and keyboard adapters, great for racing or flight controls. The cockpit will support up to a 19 inch monitor safely with slots for routing cables built in. The cockpit is great for small spaces or apartments and the builder can take pride in knowing he or she can successfully build a simulator cockpit.
The plans are in the PDF format and compressed into a downloadable zip file. A program like to unzipper built into Windows and Adobe Acrobat reader is required to view the plans after download. The file is the complete set of plans no key is required. |
